VF Corporation revenues increase in Q4

US-based branded lifestyle apparel retailer VF Corporation has reported a 37% increase in revenues to $2,910m in the fourth quarter (Q4), compared to $2,126m in the same quarter in 2010.

The firm said all its coalitions achieved higher revenues in the quarter, with the strongest growth in Outdoor & Action Sports, where total revenues surged 81%.

Adjusted net income jumped 34% to $262m in the fourth quarter, compared to $196m in the same period a year earlier.

In full-year to 31 December 2011, revenues climbed 23% to $9,459m from $7,703m last year. Timberland acquisition added $713m to revenues in 2011.

Adjusted net income in the full-year rose 28% to $913m, compared to $713m in the previous year.

VF Corporation has more than 30 brands, including The North Face, Wrangler, Timberland, Lee, Nautica, Eagle Creek and Eastpak.
