UK retailer Boux Avenue to open in Norwich

RBR Staff Writer Published 15 February 2012

UK-based lingerie store chain Boux Avenue plans to open a brand new store at the Chapelfield shopping center in Norwich.

The firm's new site, owned by Capital Shopping Centres (CSC), will open in around two months time, reported retailgazette.co.uk.

The Chapelfield shop spans 2,670ft² and is situated on the Upper Mall at the center adjacent to Superdrug and Levi's.

The other CSC centers which presently boast a Boux Avenue shop are Lakeside, The Trafford Center in Manchester, St David's in Cardiff and Newcastle's Metrocenter.

The lingerie retailer has already set up 10 shops in the UK since launching in April 2011.

In the last six months, other firms to open locations in Chapelfield include H&M Kids store and new shops from both Menkind and Trespass.

CSC asset management director Martin Breeden said other recent debuts for the city at Chapelfield have included new stores for Apple, Ark, Hollister and Superdry, all of which have provided significant uplifts in footfall and sales.
