True Fit raises $55m in funding round

True Fit, a data-driven personalization platform for footwear and apparel retailers, has raised $55m in Series C investment round, led by Georgian Partners.

Existing investors including Jump Capital, Signal Peak Ventures, Intel Capital, and new investor Cross Creek Capital also participated in the round.

True Fit’ will use the funding will further develop its AI data platform, as well as advance innovation of its personalized style, fit, and analytics solutions. 

It will also extend the company’s offerings to include more open APIs, new AI-driven integrations, and new capabilities like personal outfitting, chatbot virtual stylists, and improved visualizations.

True Fit is planning to make its APIs available to a broad ecosystem of retail service providers.

The company’s understanding of consumer preferences and garment attributes can help retailers in better personalizing all touchpoints of consumers’ journey from top-of-funnel search and display, to on site discovery and inspiration, to conversion confidence and return reduction, reengagement with personalized emails, retargeting, chat and voice applications, and new in-store experiences.

The analytics and insights from True Fit will help retailers and brands make smart decisions in merchandising, marketing and manufacturing.
