Indian brand Vitamins to set up retail outlets
Indian lifestyle clothing brand Vitamins plans to set up its own exclusive brand outlets in the country. The kidswear brand is part of clothing manufacturer Sangam Dresses.
The company is planning to open its first store in Mumbai and over a period of time it will open another 6-7 stores at one go at various locations across India, reported Ffibre2fashion.
Sangam Dresses director Ojas Nishar said expansion amidst tough times depends on brand to brand.
"We are doing good business on a daily basis and we need to keep moving forward," Nishar said.
Reacting on foreign direct investment (FDI) in single-brand retail, Nishar said FDI will not affect its business at all, rather it will help it grow. Because the brand has international look.
The Mumbai-based brand, launched in 2000, caters to the fashion needs of girls aged 0-4 and 5-14 years. Its product range includes apparels, accessories and innerwear.
